Rekeyable Padlocks
The cylinder in rekeyable padlocks is removable to
(a) change the pinning or
(b) replace the original cylinder with a new one, restoring security.
This is ideal for lost or stolen keys. Products with this option have “rekeyable” in the item description. Rekeyable padlocks are available Keyed Different, Keyed Alike, or Master Keyed.
Door Key Compatible Padlocks
Most recently, Master Lock has added door hardware cylinder options. This creates options for padlock integration into facility padlock and door lock systems.
